2. General Terms

All quotes provided and orders placed with Reconditioned Stairlift Prices are subject to the following conditions:

Quotes remain valid for up to 30 days from the date issued and may be withdrawn at any time by written or verbal notice.

Orders are processed based on the agreed terms and specifications at the time of acceptance.

3. Returns, Refunds & Exchanges

We offer a 14-day cooling-off period for stairlifts. However, certain conditions apply:

Custom-made and made-to-measure stairlifts are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.

If a stairlift requires fitting and removal, a restocking fee may apply.

For stairlifts that have been cut or tailored to fit your staircase, full payment is required upon cancellation, minus any installation or fitting costs.

Returns are only accepted under warranty conditions or following your statutory rights.

Deposits for custom stairlifts or fitted models may be subject to cancellation charges and expenses.

4. Delivery & Installation

We aim to deliver and install your stairlift as scheduled, but exact dates cannot be guaranteed.

Orders are typically completed within 21 working days from the technical survey for bespoke stairlifts.

Any changes to the order may cause delays.

If delivery is postponed at your request, storage charges may apply.

You must provide adequate access for installation.

Upon installation, you will be asked to sign a completion checklist.

Please note: All stairlifts are drilled, cut, and customised to fit your staircase. We do not cover the cost of any alterations made to your staircase, flooring, or surrounding areas as part of installation or removal.

5. Prices & VAT

Any design or specification changes requested after placing an order may result in a price adjustment.

Stairlifts supplied for individual disabled persons are currently exempt from VAT, but this may change based on UK tax laws. A signed declaration of disability is required for VAT exemption.

6. Dimensions & Technical Data

We reserve the right to modify product specifications where necessary, within reasonable limits, without prior notice.
